GMAT寫(xiě)作必要性
首先,可以確定的是,在初次篩選申請(qǐng)時(shí),AWA的成績(jī)不會(huì)對(duì)你的申請(qǐng)?jiān)斐捎绊?。在初次篩選的時(shí)候,主要是以Verbal-Quantitative score和GPA。但是當(dāng)你的申請(qǐng)?jiān)谒暾?qǐng)學(xué)校的borderline的時(shí),AWA部分優(yōu)秀的成績(jī),將會(huì)讓你的一群borderline candidates,獲得理想的offer。
另外,隨著申請(qǐng)US BS的外國(guó)學(xué)生的逐漸增加,writing and verbal skills成為了BS admissions committee篩選的重要因素。他們認(rèn)為,strong quantitative skills只是證明你能夠成為優(yōu)秀的MBA學(xué)生和經(jīng)理人的條件之一。所以全面發(fā)展還是很重要的。
GMAT寫(xiě)作考什么?
GMAT寫(xiě)作考試,通常是給考生呈現(xiàn)一個(gè)話題,這個(gè)話題中包含一個(gè)或幾個(gè)邏輯漏洞,要求考生找出邏輯漏洞,并通過(guò)具體論述圍繞漏洞話題進(jìn)行反駁。
其實(shí)GMAT寫(xiě)作整體難度不大,這里我們大家提供了幾大GMAT寫(xiě)作常見(jiàn)邏輯錯(cuò)誤對(duì)應(yīng)的模版。

開(kāi)頭

1.無(wú)因果聯(lián)系(因?yàn)樗訠)
The arguer's claim is a classic instance of"AFTER THIS,THEREFORE BECAUSE OF THIS"reasoning.The only evidence put forward to support the conclusion is前提事實(shí)原因But this is a fallacious reasoning unless other possible casual explanations have been considered and ruled out For example,A導(dǎo)致B的另一個(gè)假設(shè)原因。
2.時(shí)地全等(出現(xiàn)時(shí)間地點(diǎn)照搬的情況)
The arguer commits a fallacy of"ALL THINGS ARE EQUALE".The fact that前提事實(shí)原因is not a sound evidence to draw the conclusion,since it omits some respects.The arguer assumes without justification that the background conditions have remained the same at different times or in different locations.However,it is not clear in this argument whether the current/past conditions條件一arethesameas條件二.Thus,such evidence might undermine the argument for lacking valid information.
3.樣本不足(用一小部分代了整體,論證是依據(jù)調(diào)查統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)等樣本可疑)
The evidence that前提事實(shí)原因does little to prove the conclusion.The statistics/study/survey/experiments小樣本are/is not necessarily a good indicator of future trends,unless it can be shown that小樣本is representative of all大樣本If so,it is likely to strengthen結(jié)論主張目標(biāo).
4.類比(AB相同發(fā)生B發(fā)生找不相同點(diǎn))
The arqument rests on the assumption that A事件事物情況地點(diǎn)is analogous to B事件事物情況地點(diǎn)in all aspects.Although there are points of comparison between A and B,there is much dissimilarity as well.For example,AB間不相似的舉例.
5.二者擇一(多解決plan題,要么這樣辦要么那樣辦,過(guò)于絕對(duì),取中間,中和解決方案)
The arguer provides no reason for imposing an EITHER-OR-CHOICE.He or she assumes that A這件事and B這件事are mutually exclusive alternatives and there is no room for a middle ground.However,common sense tells us that adjusting both A and B might produce bettel results.
6.可疑調(diào)查(調(diào)查的方式回收的方式等有效性可度可疑)
The poll/survey cited by the arguer is too vague to be informative.The claim does not indicate who conducted the poll,who responded,or when,where and how the poll was conductedForexample被試人數(shù)和有效回復(fù)人數(shù)/時(shí)間地點(diǎn)不具有隨意性(選一).Unti these questions are answered without doubt,the results of the survey/poll could be credible.

In sum,based on the aspects,the conclusion that結(jié)論主張目標(biāo)is unconvincing/doubtful.The argument is not well-reasoned.To solidify this argument,much evidence would have to provide to explain each of the assumptions listed in the previous analysis,such as任舉上述一二三. GMAT備考

1時(shí)間安排:3-4分鐘解題,25分鐘碼字,1-2分鐘檢查
2寫(xiě)作格式:每段頂格寫(xiě),段間空一行
3打字速度:實(shí)在太著急的話,活用復(fù)制黏貼哦!
4提高速度:練反應(yīng)思考速度,打字速度
5限時(shí)練習(xí):結(jié)合機(jī)經(jīng)總結(jié)常出現(xiàn)的邏輯錯(cuò)誤
6基礎(chǔ)補(bǔ)充:復(fù)習(xí)時(shí)多看時(shí)事新聞,增加你對(duì)案例的分析能力
7考試環(huán)境:習(xí)慣傳統(tǒng)鍵盤(pán),手指打字速度跟上思考的速度
8高分要點(diǎn):語(yǔ)法正確,拼寫(xiě)無(wú)誤,注重邏輯
