加拿大萊斯布里奇大學(xué)研究發(fā)現(xiàn)CBD可降低新冠病毒感染率
近日加拿大萊斯布里奇大學(xué)聯(lián)合醫(yī)學(xué)公司組成的研究小組發(fā)現(xiàn),CBD可降低70%-80%新冠病毒感染幾率。加拿大基礎(chǔ)類大學(xué)
眾所周知,病毒通過(guò)附著并尋找生物細(xì)胞膜上的蛋白質(zhì),進(jìn)入細(xì)胞內(nèi)部,從而進(jìn)行自我復(fù)制。而COVID-19病毒進(jìn)入細(xì)胞內(nèi)部的傳播媒介,為ACE2蛋白質(zhì),又稱血管緊張素轉(zhuǎn)化酶2,在人體肺部、心臟、腎臟、血液和腸道內(nèi)普遍存在,是人體內(nèi)一種參與血壓調(diào)節(jié)的蛋白質(zhì)。
研究發(fā)現(xiàn),CBD進(jìn)入人體后,能降低ACE2蛋白質(zhì)的活性和水平,從而有效減少COVID-19病毒尋找到細(xì)胞膜入口,進(jìn)行自我復(fù)制的機(jī)會(huì),有效程度達(dá)到70%-80%.
研究人員之一奧爾加·科瓦爾丘克(Olga Kovalchuk)告訴記者“我們對(duì)實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果完全被驚呆了,然后我們真的很高興。”
盡管他們強(qiáng)調(diào)還需要進(jìn)行更多的研究,但該研究給治療帶來(lái)了希望,如果能夠穩(wěn)定調(diào)節(jié)這種酶,可以研發(fā)出降低疾病易感性的合理策略,以及成為治療COVID-19的有用和安全的輔助療法。

Cultural Resource Management MA
About the course
The Master of Arts in Cultural Resource Management(CRM)program provides students with training in the skills,methods,and theoretical backgrounds necessary for work as professional archaeologists within the cultural resource management industry in Alberta and elsewhere.Graduates of this major will also be prepared to run their own companies and projects.
The program consists of 9.0 to 18.0 credit hours of graduate semester courses,a co-op program semester,and a thesis.It is based on a co-operative education model that integrates real-world work experience with classroom and research-driven learning.
The archaeological training received during the program prepares students not only for local careers but also international opportunities.Students gain transferable academic and occupational background,which can be applied in any archaeological context.
The major integrates a range of theoretical approaches from a variety of disciplines with practical experience,and incorporates course work and thesis work within a unique co-op-based learning program where students work in industry.Co-operative education and internship opportunities provide paid work experience in appropriate employment fields for students.These value-added activities provide enriching experiences and professional development opportunities for students.This major requires a co-operative work term as a degree requirement.Students may elect to complete a second co-operative work term as part of their degree in order to earn a co-op designation.

Graduates will be prepared to work within pre-existing CRM companies as senior archaeologists or to start their own companies and further contribute to Alberta’s economic growth.Specifically,students who successfully complete this program will be able to:
Supervise archaeological excavations and surveys in Alberta and elsewhere.
Interpret and communicate the results of archaeological work to academics and government agencies,and to corporate and community agencies.
Assist community members and corporations to mitigate heritage concerns in relation to economic development.
Work in a number of settings related to the heritage industry.

About the course
The Anthropology Department at the University of Lethbridge has expertise in Socio-Cultural Anthropology and Anthropological Archaeology.We offer a fieldwork-based MA program with seminars through the Cultural,Social and Political Thought interdisciplinary graduate program and Independent Studies seminars with members of the Anthropology Department.Faculty in our department research on a range of topics,including the anthropology of policy and governance;anthropology of happiness and wellbeing;environmental anthropology;race,ethnicity and indigeneity;anthropology of childhood;psychological anthropology;medical anthropology;anthropology and archaeology of food;origins of social complexity and social inequality;anthropology of ritual and religion;anthropology of development;and urban anthropology.We research in diverse settings,including South-east Asia,Japan,Guatemala,Mexico,Ecuador,Colombia,Spain,Mali,Aotearoa/New Zealand,United States and Canada.
The Department of Anthropology is a member department in the interdisciplinary Cultural,Social and Political Thought Graduate Program.We are also active in the Institute for Child and Youth Studies(I-CYS),the Centre for Oral History and Tradition(COHT)and the Centre for Culture and Community(CCC)at the University of Lethbridge,each of which provides opportunities for interdisciplinary engagement and collaboration.
The Anthropology Department provides students with the opportunity to engage in a fieldwork-based MA program that prepares students for continuing on to PhD research.It also prepares students for work in a variety fields,including social welfare,government planning,public health,international development,First Nations planning and development,rights work,immigration,museum management,or education.Three to six graduate term courses or equivalent(9.0 to 18.0 credit hours)are required for this program.Students develop their programs in consultation with their supervisors.Course descriptions of courses offered at the University of Lethbridge are available in the course catalogue.You can also view the Timetable on the Registrar's Office website to see what courses are being offered and when.
Prospective students should have a strong background in Anthropology and/or the social sciences.That background should,ideally,include undergraduate coursework on anthropological methods and theory.Strong writing skills are also a critical component of successful graduate research in Anthropology.If students are interested in international field research,prior working knowledge of relevant foreign languages is encouraged.
