加拿大商科研究生GMAT語法比較對(duì)象問題解析

加拿大商科研究生考試，我們知道GMAT中涉及到比較的題目是很多的，也是很多同學(xué)容易做錯(cuò)的題目，今天我們就來講講比較中涉及到比較對(duì)象的問題。加拿大商科研究生

1.比較對(duì)象概念對(duì)等

人、事、物對(duì)比人、事、物，可能比較特征、性質(zhì)、行為、數(shù)量等

例句

I ate more apples than Tom was.

這個(gè)句子很明顯就是錯(cuò)的，把“做了什么”和“是什么”做了對(duì)比

我們可以改為：

I ate more apples than Tom(did).

I ate more apples than did Tom.

這兩個(gè)句子都是對(duì)的

2.發(fā)現(xiàn)比較的標(biāo)志詞，找到比較對(duì)象

like，unlike,as,

形容詞／副詞的比較級(jí)+than

compared to/with,in contrast to/with+具體化名詞，on the contrary,opposite to/of,

as/so…as

be overshadowed by,be different from

3.替代原則

與比較對(duì)象重復(fù)的不可數(shù)名詞或者單數(shù)名詞，用that代替；

與比較對(duì)象重復(fù)的復(fù)數(shù)名詞形式，用those代替

我們來看一個(gè)例句

野生動(dòng)物wild animals的總脂肪比牲畜livestock的總脂肪少。此句話對(duì)比的是總脂肪，所以應(yīng)該是：

The total fat of wild animals is less than that of livestock.

不像小蜜蜂的巢，大黃蜂的巢有很多裝飾物。

Unlike those of honeybees,the nests of yellow jackets have many decorations.

此題的對(duì)比對(duì)象就是兩類巢

此題正確答案是C，對(duì)比對(duì)象是海象的眼睛和其他動(dòng)物的眼睛，a和b選項(xiàng)對(duì)比對(duì)象不一致；d選項(xiàng)中they代指的是主句中的主語the eyes，對(duì)比對(duì)象還是不一致；e選項(xiàng)前半部分是對(duì)的，后面的it allows them有問題，首先it不能代指前面一句話的內(nèi)容，其次them錯(cuò)誤，本意上指的是the elephant seal

首先從句意上要搞清楚的是相似類型的恐龍化石在北美被發(fā)現(xiàn)，而不是恐龍?jiān)诒泵辣话l(fā)現(xiàn)，所以比較對(duì)象是Utah的恐龍化石和之前在北美被發(fā)現(xiàn)的相似類型的恐龍化石,根據(jù)比較對(duì)象不一致，排除BCE,還剩下A和D,A選項(xiàng)中的they有指代歧義，并且后面的was一定是錯(cuò)的，因?yàn)閠hat代指的是those。GMAT語法

比較對(duì)象一致是涉及到比較的題目首先要考慮到的點(diǎn)，這并不是很難的點(diǎn)，只需要我們做題的時(shí)候多加留意就可以了。
