　　Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Health Research Methods,Evidence,and Impact at McMaster University(HEI).This fellowship is in collaboration with EBSCO Clinical Decisions,the publisher of DynaMed,an evidence-based medicine point-of-care resource for practicing clinicians,and MITACS.

　　We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team to engage in applying machine learning to clinical information retrieval and processing.

　　職位要求

　　An ideal candidate would be an experienced scientist who has recently completed their Ph.D.in computer science,statistics,or mathematics and have experience or a strong interest in applying machine learning in the health information context using natural language processing.

　　The candidate will be expected to carry out independent research in machine learning,applying advanced methods,in addition to grant-writing,peer-review publication,and other related activities,which may include mentoring junior research students in the group.
